The First Step On The Road To Recovery.....

Surrender

Captivity Ends With Surrender!

One of the hardest things for me to come to terms with was the fact that I couldn't change who I had become without the help of anyone else. There had to be another way that I hadn't tried yet. So I kept trying different ways and methods to stop the destructive behavior in my life. I wouldn't admit that I had failed, I simply found 10,000 different ways that didn't work! I just couldn't go on like this and the only solution was to surrender. I encourage you to do the same. Stop being stubborn like I was and admit defeat, you can't do this alone, then you can be on your way down the road to recovery and the new life God has in store for you and your family.

John 15:4-5
4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus Said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
