As you hear this prayer, I encourage you to listen to the words and make them your own. This is not a formula that you can follow to get a desired result. They have to come out of your heart, acknowledging and taking responsibility for your sin, asking God to forgive you, repenting of your bad behaviors. After this, your relationship with God will be restored and you will have access to his mercy and grace.
