Breaking The Chains Of Addiction

Coming Under Authority
The only way to defeat someone or something stronger than you is by appealing to another source that is stronger than that which is defeating you. In order to have access to God's power in your life, you must come under His authority. Imagine that you lost your ATM card. This doesn't mean that the money in your account has been lost or stolen. You simply don't have access to it anymore. This is what happens when we live in rebellion against God. When God is confronting us with areas in our lives He wants to change and we resist Him, it's like losing your ATM card. God isn't going to take away all your cash, but you will lose access to it until you get your card back. I encourage you to get your card back now by submitting to God today. You will need access to His authority to overcome your enemies and live a life of victory.
Matthew 8:8-10
“The centurion replied, ‘Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.’ When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, ‘Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.’â€
