You have heard this saying before, "Just follow your heart". The problem with following your heart is clear.....it will lead to destruction! It led me to a place of despair and eventually bondage to drugs and alcohol, destroying all the things in my life that had any value or meaning. Following your heart, or doing things your way rather than God's way, is outright rebellion which has dire consequences in our lives.
