EXPERIENCING THE SPIRIT

                                    THE SPIRIT IS SPEAKING…

Throughout the Bible, God did His work on earth through the Holy Spirit. People throughout history have experienced the powerful work of the Spirit in their lives, and they've been used of God to impact the world in which they lived. But this is not a history lesson. This is your opportunity to experience the mighty work of the Spirit today. Your world desperately needs godly men and women who will yield themselves to the Spirit and allow God to touch the world through them. The Day of Pentecost was more than a historical event; it was God's announcement to the world that a new day had arrived. The Spirit was poured out upon all who would believe in Jesus from that day forward. So what about you?

Has the Spirit been poured out in your life? What is the evidence that the Spirit of God has taken up residence in your life? Take a moment and talk with God about His presence in your life. Do you really want to experience Him in His fullness? Or would you rather lay low and not get involved? Are you one who wants to see the mighty power of God, or do you want to just slip into heaven doing the bare minimum? What do you think God wants for your life? Put aside your desires, and ask God to show you His purposes for your life.
