When you consider your life, do you need somebody to turn the light on? That's the role of the Holy Spirit. Do you need some wind in your sails? Invite the Spirit to breathe new life into your soul. Do you want a deeper and more meaningful relationship with almighty God? Then you must understand the Holy Spirit's role in your life. Once you come to know the Spirit in all His fullness, you'll see heaven opened up before you.

Consider what you do know about God. Oh, there's much more to learn, but take a moment and thank God for revealing Himself to you. The fact that you're reading this book is an indication that God wants you to experience a deeper relationship with Him. So ask the Holy Spirit to help you see God more clearly. Ask Him to communicate the deep things of God to your spirit. Finally, commit your life to respond to everything He says. A heart of ready obedience frees the Holy Spirit to speak into your life, because He knows you'll respond when He speaks.
