Informative Intersections

2 KINGS 6:17
Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

When you are seeking God, you don’t have to worry about finding your destiny. Your destiny will find you. You will discover it in the divine intersections God has planned for you. Time after time the Bible gives us illustrations of divine intersections. •The infant Moses’s intersection with Pharaoh’s daughter on the Nile positioned him to eventually set God’s people free.
•Beautiful Abigail offered David’s army some food just in time to stop a rampage on her home. Abigail’s foolish husband later died, and she became the king’s wife. •Ruth gleaning in Boaz’s field set her up to become a matriarch in the line of Jesus Christ.
•When Queen Esther’s husband couldn’t sleep and asked for something to read, he was brought the book of history, and he heard the account of Mordecai saving him. This eventually led to the Israelites’ empowerment to defend themselves against their enemies and escape annihilation.

You never know how God is going to bring things together at just the right time. Intersections are happening all around you, but you need to be on the lookout in order to notice them. When things don’t make sense, rather than complaining or giving up, ask yourself, “Why has God led me here? What might He be adding to my life? How might this help me fulfill my destiny?” Questions like these will help you receive the most benefit from the divine intersections in your life.

Lord, open my eyes so that I may truly see what is going on all around me. Help me to see the spiritual realm and not just the physical. Please increase my spiritual insight and wisdom.
