EXPERIENCING THE SPIRIT

                          IN THE MIDDLE OF GOD'S ACTIVITY

The divine nature cannot be hidden. It must—and it will—express itself. When our lives are yielded to the Spirit's control, God is certain to work through us by leaving His mark on those around us. For not only has He given us new life, He has also extended to us an invitation to be involved in His work to redeem this world. The Holy Spirit's major assignment is to bring our lives into harmony with God's activity so He can accomplish this work through us. Spiritual gifts don't belong to the believer; rather, they're an expression of the Holy Spirit doing the Father's will. And once you obey God's will for your life, you'll begin to experience the Spirit working through you. Have you recognized His assignment in your life to bring you into the middle of God's activity? One way to begin approaching this is to review your past.
